“16 years ago when I applied for the PCA class at HSNNY, I never could have imagined where it would take me. At the time, I had very little work experience and didn’t really know anything about home care. During my time as an aide I decided to take the leap into nursing school, not knowing what the future of my career would look like but hoping that it would stay in home care as I grew to really love what I do. When I graduated nursing school I was given the opportunity to stay with HSNNY, I gladly accepted and couldn’t imagine doing anything else now.
